Zoomph is Hiring a People Operations Partner Near Reston, VA

Our People Operations Partner plays a pivotal role in fostering a positive and productive workplace environment within our company. This multifaceted role combines human resources expertise with an understanding of employee engagement, organizational culture, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. As the People Operations Partner, you will collaborate with the CEO and leadership to understand the Zoomph team’s unique needs and challenges, develop actionable People solutions and initiatives, and implement new programs to support the People strategy and overall business direction.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner across the organization on our headcount planning strategy, ensuring we deliver against our compensation philosophy and we are growing our teams in an intentional way
  • Own administration of and data integrity for Zoomph’s HRIS and related people systems for managing compensation, benefits, and compliance
  • Partner with legal counsel to manage all workforce-related compliance and policy matters
  • Own the relationship with Zoomph’s benefits brokers in all markets ensuring the retirement, health and wellbeing plan design aligns with overall people strategy in a scalable way
  • Continually evaluate and execute on Zoomph’s compensation philosophy inclusive of managing regular benchmarking to the market on new and existing roles to maintain competitiveness within the industry
  • Be the subject matter expert and advisor on payroll, benefit, compensation or compliance best practices as we implement our future of work strategy creatively adapting to new ways of working

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources or People
  • Expertise with owning the HRIS system, in-depth knowledge of ADP and BambooHR is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of US labor law, tax and compliance as well as all federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, including COBRA, FMLA, EEOC, and DOL/FLSA requirements
  • Deep understanding of benefit plan design and administration; experience owning open enrollment process end-to-end
  • Extremely strong communicator and project manager with a passion for employee experience and satisfaction
  • Detail oriented, deadline driven and work well under pressure with a high degree of accuracy
  • Highly discreet when dealing with sensitive employee payroll and benefit matters
  • Solution-seeker that displays outstanding judgment, critical thinking and project management skills
